Teens In AI

During 2022, I was offered an amazing position working for a company called Teens In AI, a not-for-profit organisation who aims to get teens and young people intrested and engaged in the world of STEM. My role with the company was as a marketing assistant, content creator and guest speaker at their events.

There was over 200 applicants and I was the only one who got the job role. During my time working there, I was under the supervision of the companies founder and CEO, Elena Sinel, an incredible person who is truly changing the world of STEM and breaking down barriers to entry. I'm eternally grateful to Elena for letting me work under her and her continued support even after I left the company. Below is some of my work that I created whilst at Teens In AI.

Centred at the top of the slide is the text, ‘Queer in STEM’ written in our white, basic font. Underneath this is “Edith Windsor” written in bold white font with a black, blurred shadow behind. Below this is “(she/her)” written in the basic white font again. Underneath this text is a picture of Edie- a white female with a shoulder length blonde curly hair. She is wearing a white shirt with a pride flag over her left shoulder and a salmon-coloured sun hat. The picture is in colour with a white glowing grey shadow behind the picture. Behind this is a rainbow triangle with the point of origin being the left-hand corner and then the lines of the rainbow work their way upwards to the right-hand side of the slide. The colours start with a lilac purple at the top, bright blue, mossy green, golden yellow, bright orange and then a slightly muted red at the bottom, with our logo of the white geometric line art brain in the bottom right-hand corner.
Blue gradient background, going from a dark navy blue at the top and fading into a lighter navy blue at the bottom. Text is ‘Celebrating LGTBQ+ History Month 2022’. The font is a basic font all in white apart from the word LGBTQ+ is in rainbow colours, with all the letters in different colours. The text is centred in the top half of the post. Underneath the text is a rainbow swirl- it starts off small on the far left-hand side, and then expands over to the right-hand side of the slide, with two bends in the wave at roughly every third of the wave. The colours of the wave are red at the top, orange, yellow, pastel green, light blue (same colour as the bottom of the background) and a dark blue with a purple hue. In the far left-hand corner under the wave is our logo- a geometric line drawing of a brain followed by the words ‘Teens in AI’ written underneath in the same font as the main text, with the words Teens and AI both in white and the ‘in’ written in red.
Centred at the top of the slide is the text, ‘Queer in STEM’ written in our white, basic font. Underneath this is ‘Alan Turing’ written in bold white font with a black, blurred shadow behind. Below this is ‘(he/him)’ written in the basic white font again. Underneath this text is a picture of Alan- a white man with a short slicked back hair which combs over to the left of the image. He is wearing a black blazer, black jumper and black tie with a white shirt. The picture is in black and white with a white glowing grey shadow behind the picture.
